I don't know. never heard of working class heroes bootleg.

Well, it has "Working Class Hero", "ring them bells"..a selection with Johnny Cash...all kinds of demos and rarities. I tried to look the track listing up online cuz all I have is a cassette copy..but all I could find was a pic of the cover. It's prolly the best bootleg recording I've ever heard.

I heard a song called time of the preacher, it was Johnny Cash singing and supposidly Alice in Chains providing the music...its one of my favorite Cash songs.

BlueWahoo.. you're a fan of LP and you dont like AIC, AIC is one of the greatest American bands ever, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Nirvana defined American Youth Agnst as much as any 4 bands have ever, not to mention they all came from the Seattle area.Prob the greatest span of music ever, Badmotorfinger, Ten, Nevermind and Dirt.

I'd argue it was one of the worst times for music, pretty close behind Disco but music is all personal taste and all opinion.
AIC should not be mentioned with PJ and Nirvana but that is just my opinion. AIC blows alway those bands

Worst time in music? How?
I can name a laundry list of bands that influenced generations to come. Not just the Seattle sound, the early 90's gave birth to Pantera (the new sound), Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Soundgarden, Nirvana, AIC, Mudhoney, NIN, Pearl Jam, across the board, I couldnt imagine a more influential time, with exception of the late 60's and the diversity that came from that era, the early 70's with Sabbath and Zep, beyond those two, Id be hard pressed to say it wasnt the greatest time in music history, but like you, it is prob more on a personal preference...

I'm with ya...I liked the music from the 80's, but it got to where it was all the same look, tempo, sound, pretense, etc. The Seattle sound killed that, and not a moment too soon. The Early 90's shaped all of the rock music to follow.
